About Santa Fe Group

The Santa Fe Group fosters policy and initiates actions to improve the health and well-being of the public. We accomplish this mission by analyzing and disseminating health program and policy information, by creating networks of concerned citizens from all walks of life, and developing advocacy programs to promote change for improved health.

To help shape the future of health through an action-oriented think tank that has a passion for the public good.

SFG achieves its mission as a non-partisan, not-for-profit change agent through culturally competent analysis, information dissemination, and advocacy by:

• Convening individuals, groups, and organizations
• Conducting public awareness campaigns
• Partnering with consumer advocacy groups
• Catalyzing private sector, educational, and public partnerships and alliances
• Informing public policy makers
• Stimulating curriculum changes from K - through health professional education
• Advocating for reimbursement for health promotion and disease prevention
• Developing leadership capacity in the health professions and related industries
• Stimulating community empowerment
• Objectively and critically evaluating contemporary health issues
• Enhancing technology and science transfer
• Exhibiting creativity, innovation, and timely responsiveness to current issues
• Documenting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary linkages

Santa Fe Group's principal strength resides in the quality of its thinking and proactive leadership. The synthesis of a rich mix of professionals who have the passion and purpose to positively affect today's critical health-related issues is the primary rational for the formation of the organization.
